I have a Analogic gauge with EGT and oil pressure sensors the EGT reading has been acting erratically under heavy load it has been showing as low as 150F and as high as 1805F when the gauge was working correctly the max temp was 1600F.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. Have you verified that the EGT sensor cable is ok, and that the connections at the gauge are solid?

I checked the connectors and the gauge everything look good but when I go
under the car and shake the wire the readings jump around is there anyway to
test the probe to see if that is the problem?

Are you able to access the point where the cable connects to the EGT sensor? Move it around right there and see if it happens.

Is sounds like you've discovered that there is a connection issue somewhere, if not at the gauge it must be at the sensor itself.

If it's a bad sensor we can replace it if there is not damage and it's a manufacturing defect.

When did you buy the sensor?

You can send it here with this form:

http://aeroforcetech.com/files/af_return_2.pdf

and we'll check it out. If it's under warranty and defective we can replace it.

Otherwise, if you need one immediately to replace it you can buy another and send that one in. We'll refund the purchase price if found to be defective and under warranty. The warranty is 90 days but I can stretch this a little if the unit is clearly not broken due to misuse.
